Turmoil

My intent was to create an unfriendly, ruined landscape.
The bishop is the only chess piece that stays on the same color square the whole game. This one has a spiral staircase on it, and nearby there is a stairwell with a section missing but it's on a different color square. No move can possibly complete the staircase.

Pens used were .25, .50, and 1.0mm microns as well as faber-castell "big brush."
